Free Search — Typically 1–3 Business Days
Give us the address or details of the former property. We search public county, trustee, and unclaimed property records at no cost to you to determine whether surplus or unclaimed funds exist and roughly how much.
Verification — Typically 3–10 Business Days
If funds are found, we confirm the exact amount, identify who currently holds it, and determine exactly what documentation and forms are required to establish your rightful claim in that specific county or state.
Filing — Varies by County
We prepare and file the claim, handle all correspondence with the county, trustee, or court, and respond to any requests for additional documentation. Some counties process claims administratively; others require a short hearing, which we prepare you for in advance.
Payout — Once Approved
Once your claim is approved, funds are released, typically by check from the county or trustee. Our fee — agreed upfront as a percentage — is deducted only from money actually recovered. If nothing is recovered, nothing is owed.
